Vector Coloring of a Tomato Illustration
A video of the coloring of a tomato illustration rendering in the trendy geometric style. At 0:30 the Shape Builder tool is used. At 1:30 all of the basic colors are in place and the true "coloring" begins using the HSB (Hue, Saturation, Brightness) sliders in the Color panel.
The illustration is one of a series of illustrations demonstrating, for educational purposes, a variety of ways to translate an object into graphic shapes commonly used in vector rendering. I later removed the highlight, as it just didn't look well.

Ink Sketch of a Woman
This drawing was likely completed during a 20 min pose. I am especially fond of the 2 drawn feet. With one foot behind the other and the front foot in perspective there is a successful design of depth.
