Vector - Figuring it out

Witness the honest effort to render in Adobe Illustrator (really, any art medium.) It's a lot of trial and error. Furthermore, there are several examples of attempt to use tools and techniques not quite understood or perfected.

Second Video - Custom Vector Lettering - Create

This is a video of the letters E and R being "blocked out" in Adobe Illustrator for the word "Create." I am using different tools within Adobe Illustrator for various elements of the lettering. For example, the stem of the R was created with the Rectangle Tool, while the descender of the R was accomplished with the Width Tool

The final 15 min of a 1hr drawing session sped up to 3min.

So, here is my first video recording of a drawing I did in Photoshop CS6. This drawing may become a small detail (part of a sketch book page) of a larger illustration I started working on a year ago. I, then, abandoned the illustration (I got stuck on what to put on the Sketchbook page.) And now,. I am  attempting to finish the illustration...soon!
